Put plainly the larger the frame the more material is required to retain strength, stiffness and durability. This means the STW (Strength To Weight) ratio is similar for all frame sizes. This is because a tall and usually more powerful rider needs more stiffness than a shorter and normally more lightweight rider. This system avoids having wasted material and increased weight on a small frame unnecassarily, and too little material on a larger frame. Avid Elixir R disc brakes help scrub off speed with a 185mm front and 160mm rear rotor size, the rotors are mounted to a pair of DT's x1800 wheels which speak for themselves, whilst a pair of Rockshox SID Race 100mm travel suspension forks help control the bike at speed over the rough stuff.
